Refund & Cancellation Policy
At StuCollab, we maintain a fair and transparent financial ecosystem. This policy outlines exactly how cancellations, refunds, and disputes are handled across all platform features.
Event Tickets
• Event tickets are non-refundable once purchased. Please review event details carefully before buying.
• Exception — Organizer cancels: If the event organizer cancels the event, a full refund (including platform fee and processing fee) will be automatically initiated to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
• Ticket price includes a ₹10 platform fee and a 2.5% payment processing fee, clearly shown at checkout.
Quick Help Tasks
• Cancel before helper accepts: Full refund is automatically processed. Your money is returned to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
• Helper no-show: If a helper accepts but fails to complete the task, the system will automatically cancel and initiate a full refund.
• Task completed & approved (PIN verified): No refund is possible after you verify completion with the security PIN. This confirms you received the service.
• Disputes: If you're unhappy with the service before approval, you can raise a dispute. Our admin team will review the evidence and issue a fair resolution (full refund, partial refund, or approval) within 24 hours.
• A ₹10 platform fee is deducted from the helper's earnings. The requester pays the budget + 2.5% processing fee.
Major Tasks (Digital & Physical)
• Cancel before helper is assigned: Full refund automatically processed.
• Cancel after helper assigned but before work starts: Full refund upon request. Contact support or raise a dispute.
• Task in progress: If a dispute arises while the helper is working, our admin team will review the situation. Possible outcomes:
→ Full refund — if the helper didn't deliver
→ Proportional split — if partial work was completed
→ Full approval — if the helper completed the work satisfactorily
• Task approved: No refund is possible after approval. The helper receives 80% of the budget (20% platform commission) in their wallet.
• The requester pays the budget + 2.5% processing fee, clearly shown at checkout.
Dispute Resolution
• Either party (requester or helper) can raise a dispute on any active task.
• Our admin team reviews all disputes within 24 hours.
• Evidence considered includes: chat messages, submitted work, task description clarity, and timestamps.
• Admin decisions are final and both parties are notified with the reasoning.
Wallet & Withdrawals
• Helper earnings are credited to your StuCollab wallet after task approval.
• Minimum withdrawal amount is ₹100.
• Withdrawals are processed to your registered UPI ID or bank account within 24 hours.
• Wallet balance cannot be topped up directly — it only contains task earnings.
Refund Timelines
• UPI: 3-5 business days
• Debit/Credit Card: 5-7 business days
• Net Banking: 5-10 business days
Refund timelines depend on your bank and payment method. StuCollab initiates refunds immediately, but processing time is controlled by your bank/payment provider.
