1. The Student Community Agreement
By using StuCollab, you are joining a peer-to-peer student support community. You agree to use the platform solely for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.
Key Point: You must be a verified student or academic participant to use the full features of this community hub.
2. Escrow & Payments
StuCollab uses a secure Escrow system. When a "Poster" hires a "Helper," the funds are held by StuCollab. Funds are only released when:
- The Poster explicitly approves the work.
- A Dispute is resolved in favor of the Helper.
- A physical handover PIN is correctly entered by the Helper.
3. Academic Integrity & Honor Code
StuCollab is a tool for student-to-student support. We strictly prohibit any activity that violates university policies or Indian Law, including:
- Requesting or providing live support during graded exams or tests.
- Directly completing assessments for submission as your own work.
- Impersonation: Posting content that impersonates another person or entity.
- Harmful Content: Content that is pedophilic, invasive of privacy, or racially/ethnically objectionable.
- Misinformation: Information that is patently false or misleading.
- Security: Content that threatens the unity, integrity, defense, or sovereignty of India.
4. Liability & Offline Meetings
StuCollab is a technology facilitator connecting students. We are not responsible for, and provide no warranties regarding, the conduct of users during real-world meetups.
Liability Waiver: By using our location features to arrange physical handovers, you acknowledge that you meet other users at your own risk. StuCollab is not liable for any loss, damage, or incident occurring during physical interactions.
5. Event Ticket & Refund Policy
StuCollab Events provides a technology platform for organizing and attending events. The following terms apply to all event transactions:
- Ticket Sales: All ticket payments are processed via Razorpay and held by StuCollab.
- Organizer Cancellation: If an organizer cancels an event, all paid ticket holders are automatically queued for a full refund. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
- Admin Cancellation: StuCollab reserves the right to cancel any event that violates community guidelines, safety policies, or Indian law. Paid attendees will receive full refunds.
- Attendee Cancellation: Individual ticket cancellations are not currently supported. Attendees who cannot attend are encouraged to transfer their ticket (if the organizer allows).
- No-Show Policy: No refund is issued if an attendee fails to attend a confirmed event.
6. Quick Help Terms
Quick Help connects students for time-sensitive physical and digital errands:
- Quick Help tasks are subject to the same Escrow and PIN-based handover rules as standard tasks.
- Quick Help is designed for small, campus-vicinity errands. StuCollab does not facilitate commercial courier or full-scale logistics services.
- Helpers should not accept requests involving restricted or illegal items.
- Both parties are expected to communicate exclusively through StuCollab messaging during the transaction.
7. Event Conduct Policy
All organizers and attendees agree to the following conduct standards:
- Organizers must not create misleading event listings, inflate attendance numbers, or misrepresent event details (speakers, prizes, venue).
- Attendees must behave respectfully at events. Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will result in immediate platform ban.
- Content shared at events must comply with Indian law. Events promoting extremism, illegal activities, or hate speech are strictly prohibited.
- StuCollab may feature, moderate, or remove events at its discretion to maintain community safety standards.
